Our mini snowman rocking bus was at hit at the Snowman’s Ball raising money for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice earlier this month.
The rocking bus was made by our Conway Street trim shop and auctioned for £1300 to Oliver and Graimes creative agency. It’s a miniature version of our full-size snowman bus and based on local author Raymond Briggs’ magical children’s book and animation of the same name.
But it’s no rest for the wicked, after our MD Martin Harris committed the trim shop to making another one next year featuring the logo of the winning bidder, which raised a further £2,000 in the auction.
Brighton & Hove Buses also committed to paying for a day’s operation of the hospice – around £6,700 – and bid for a Crawley FC hospitality package, which will be given to a colleague via an in-house competition.
