We couldn’t operate successfully without satisfied customers. We’ve maintained some of the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the industry over the last 12 months, with 90% of passengers either ‘very or fairly satisfied’ with their travel, according to independent national watchdog Passenger Focus.

The network: routes, frequency, who pays

We have a fleet of 280 vehicles covering more than 10.5 million miles every year, running over 30 services. We are continuously developing the bus network: more often than not, the ideas for improvements come from staff or customers. So if you have any suggestions for service changes, do get in touch.

Safety

Travelling by bus is already the safest way to travel, but we never take that for granted. We invest in the highest standards of maintenance and safety of our vehicles. This includes our driving skills, which are monitored by independent experts from Driver Assessment Services.

Brighton & Lewes Downs is the first new Unesco World Biosphere Site in the UK in 40 years, and the first ever in South East England. The Brighton & Lewes Downs Biosphere was awarded this designation by UNESCO in 2014. It joins a global network of more than 600 “world-class environments” in over 100 countries, and is one of only a handful worldwide to include a city.
